Address errors are the most common cause of failed international deliveries, and they're expensive to put right - so it's worth a moment's check before you order.
Please make sure you've included:
- Your full street address, including building or apartment number
- Any district, region, province or state required in your country
- The correct postal or ZIP code
- Your country
- A contact telephone number, ideally a mobile
Your phone number matters more than you'd think. International couriers frequently need to contact you directly, either to arrange delivery or to collect customs charges before releasing your parcel. Without a working number, a delivery can stall for days.
Spotted a mistake? Contact us immediately at info@oliversbabycare.co.uk with your order number. If your order hasn't been dispatched, we can usually correct it.
Once your order has been dispatched, the address can't be changed. Export documentation and customs declarations are prepared against the address on your order, and couriers can't redirect an international shipment once it's in transit.
If a delivery fails because of an incorrect address, the order will usually be returned to us or held locally. You'll be responsible for the costs involved, which can include return shipping, storage charges and the cost of sending it out again. In some cases the return cost exceeds the value of the order.
Moving house or ordering to a different address? If there's any doubt about where you'll be, email us before ordering and we'll hold your order until you're ready.
