Ordering from outside the UK works slightly differently from a domestic order. Here's what sits with you.
Paying the shipping cost. International shipping is quoted individually and paid by you. We'll confirm the exact figure before dispatch, and you're free to cancel for a full refund if you'd rather not proceed.
Paying local taxes and duties. VAT, customs duty and any carrier handling fee are payable to your own authorities when your order arrives. These are separate from what you pay us, and we have no way of covering them on your behalf. See Local VAT, customs charges and import duties.
Insuring your shipment. Unless we've told you that additional insurance has been arranged and paid for, your shipment isn't insured beyond the courier's standard liability, which is usually limited. If your order is valuable, we'd recommend arranging cover - just ask and we'll include it in your quote.
Providing the correct delivery address. Once your order has been dispatched, the address can't be changed. See Getting your delivery address right.
Accepting your delivery. Please make sure someone is available to accept the order, and to pay any charges the courier asks for before release. Parcels held for unpaid charges are eventually returned or disposed of.
Return costs, if you change your mind. Return shipping on unwanted items is at your expense, and international return postage can be substantial. See Returning or refusing an international order.
If you refuse delivery, you become responsible for all costs from that point - return shipping, storage and any courier fees.
Faulty items are different. If something arrives faulty or damaged, your rights are unaffected by any of the above. Contact us at info@oliversbabycare.co.uk and we'll sort it out.
