For health and hygiene reasons, some items can't be returned once they've been opened. This is standard across baby retail, and it exists to protect the family who'd otherwise receive that product next.
Items affected include:
- Medically certified products, such as Nanny breathing monitors, where a seal has been broken
- Mattresses
- Undergarments and nipplettes
- Teethers, soothers and teats
- Nasal aspirators
- Any blister-packed item once opened
This isn't an exhaustive list, so if you're unsure about a particular product, ask us before you order and we'll tell you straight away.
Unopened items are fine. If the seal or packaging is intact and the item is in resalable condition, our normal returns policy applies. See I've changed my mind, can I return it?
Faulty items are always different. If any of these products is faulty, damaged or not as described, you're fully covered and none of the above applies. See My item is faulty or damaged.
A word of advice on hygiene-sensitive items. If you're uncertain whether something will suit, it's worth asking us first or coming into the shop to see it. Our team can talk you through the options, and you're welcome to look at display items without opening anything you've bought.
Your statutory rights are unaffected. These exclusions apply to change of mind returns only, and are permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for sealed goods that aren't suitable for return once unsealed for health protection or hygiene reasons.
