What condition do items need to be in?

You're entitled to examine an item the way you would in a shop, so unwrapping something to check the colour, size or feel of it is absolutely fine and won't affect your return.

What we need in order to accept a return:

  • The item unused, with no signs of having been used
  • All original packaging, in a condition where it can be sold on as new
  • All tags still attached
  • All accessories, manuals, fixings and parts included
  • The item itself undamaged

Where we can't accept a return:

  • The item shows signs of use, wear or assembly
  • Tags have been removed
  • Packaging is missing, or so damaged that we can't sell the item on as new
  • The item has been damaged after delivery

Handle it as you would in a shop. Opening a box carefully and looking at what's inside is fine. Taking a pram out for a walk, assembling furniture, or washing and using something isn't.

Some items can't be returned once opened at all, for health and hygiene reasons. This applies to things like teats, soothers and medically certified products where a seal has been broken. See Items we can't accept back.

Please pack your return securely. We can't take responsibility for damage in transit, so returns need protecting properly. Wherever possible, put the original box inside an outer carton rather than putting labels or tape directly on the product packaging. See Packing and sending your return.

If a return arrives in a condition we can't resell, we'll contact you before doing anything. We won't quietly reduce a refund without telling you.

Faulty items are different. None of the above applies if something is faulty or arrived damaged. See My item is faulty or damaged.

Not sure whether your item qualifies? Ask before you send it back. Email info@oliversbabycare.co.uk or call +44 1778 562809, and we'll tell you honestly.
