Here's what happens once you've placed your order.
1. You'll get an order confirmation email, usually within a few minutes. This confirms what you've bought, the total paid and your delivery address. It's worth checking the details straight away - if something's wrong, the sooner you tell us the better. See Can I change my order after placing it?
2. Payment is taken when you order, not on dispatch. Depending on how you've paid, it may show on your statement as a pending transaction first.
3. Your order goes to our warehouse team. Orders placed before 15:45, Monday to Friday, are picked and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after that, at weekends or on a bank holiday go out on the next working day.
4. We'll confirm your courier and tracking. Shortly after dispatch you'll hear which courier is carrying your order, with tracking details so you can follow it. See Which courier will deliver my order, and how do I track it?
5. Your order arrives. In-stock items typically arrive within 1–3 days of dispatch.
Some orders take a different route:
- Items shipped from a supplier don't come through our warehouse and take longer - see Which items take longer to arrive?
- Multi-item orders may arrive in separate boxes, sometimes on different days
- Click & Collect orders are picked and then we'll email or call you when they're ready
- International and non-standard UK addresses need a shipping quote confirmed before dispatch
Because we dispatch quickly, there's a short window to make changes. If you need to amend anything, contact us as soon as possible on +44 1778 562809 - a phone call is faster than email.
Haven't heard from us? See I haven't received my order confirmation.
