What counts as a completed delivery?

Your delivery is complete when the parcel is:

  • Handed to you, or to someone at your address
  • Left in a safe place you have nominated - either on your order, or through the courier's app or website
  • Left in a secure location at your address, with a photograph taken as proof of delivery.

Safe places. If you've told us or the courier where to leave your parcel, delivery is complete once it's left there. It's worth choosing somewhere genuinely secure and out of sight, as we can't be responsible for a parcel left exactly where you asked for it.

Neighbours and others at your address. Couriers may leave a parcel with a neighbour, or hand it to another person in your building, if they can't reach you. This is standard practice across the industry, and a card or app notification should tell you where it's gone. If your parcel has been left somewhere you didn't agree to and you can't retrieve it, please contact us - we'll take it up with the courier on your behalf.

Making delivery more likely to go smoothly:

  • Set a safe place in advance
  • Nominate a neighbour through the courier's app
  • Add your mobile number to your order
  • Use the courier's app to choose a delivery date that suits you

Furniture and large items. These are delivered by specialist couriers who don't book a slot in advance, so please keep an eye on your tracking once the item is dispatched. If nobody is available, the delivery will be attempted again or the item returned to us.

If something has gone wrong with how your parcel was delivered, contact us at info@oliversbabycare.co.uk or +44 1778 562809 with your order number and we'll investigate.
