We can ship most large items internationally, but it's worth understanding the costs before you order.
Bulky items cost significantly more to ship. International couriers price on volume as well as weight, so a cot bed or wardrobe can cost far more to send than its size might suggest - sometimes more than the item itself, depending on the destination.
Items most affected:
- Nursery furniture - cot beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers, nursery room sets
- Travel systems and prams
- High chairs and playpens
- Multi-item or nursery bundle orders
Please get a quote before ordering. For anything large, we'd strongly recommend emailing info@oliversbabycare.co.uk with the items you want and your full delivery address. We'll come back with a realistic figure, and you can decide with the full picture in front of you.
The estimate shown at checkout assumes a single box and won't reflect the true cost of a furniture order.
Multiple boxes. Furniture is usually supplied as several separate boxes, and each one adds to the shipping cost. We'll tell you how many boxes your order involves when we confirm your quote.
Consider your own courier or a freight forwarder. For furniture and large orders in particular, customers with their own courier account often get better rates than we can. See Can I use my own courier account?
Don't forget local charges. Duties and taxes in your country are usually calculated on the value of the goods plus shipping, so a high shipping cost also increases what you'll pay on arrival. See Taxes & Duties.
Longer lead times. Some furniture is sent to us directly from the manufacturer before it can be shipped on to you, which adds several weeks. We'll confirm timescales when we quote.
