Why you're not charged UK VAT

If you're ordering from outside the UK, UK VAT is removed from your order at checkout.

Why. VAT is a UK tax on goods sold within the UK. When goods are exported, that tax doesn't apply - so we take it off. You'll see the reduction reflected in your order total before you pay.

What this means for you. The price you pay us is lower than the price a UK customer pays for the same item. However, this doesn't mean your order is tax-free. Your own country will apply its own VAT and import duties when the goods arrive. See Local VAT, customs charges and import duties.

If VAT hasn't been removed from your order, please contact us at info@oliversbabycare.co.uk before completing your purchase, or straight afterwards if you've already paid. We set VAT exclusions country by country, so it's possible we've missed a destination - we'll check it and refund you if VAT has been charged in error.

Northern Ireland orders. Northern Ireland is part of the UK for VAT purposes, so UK VAT still applies to BT addresses. Delivery to Northern Ireland is priced separately - see Delivery to the Highlands, Islands and other non-standard locations.

Our VAT number is GB887263772, and it appears on all invoices should you need it for your own records or a customs declaration.
